Powerball® Ticket Worth $1 Million Sold in Beckley

CHARLESTON, W.Va. – West Virginia Lottery Director John C. Musgrave announced today that a ticket for last Saturday’s Powerball® drawing worth $1 million was sold in Beckley and that the winner has not yet come forward to claim the prize.

The ticket, which matched five numbers and only missed the Powerball®, was purchased at the Little General Store #145 at 3604 Robert C. Byrd Drive in Beckley.

The winning numbers for the Saturday, March 16, 2013 drawing were: 3-7-21-44-53 and the Powerball® number was 16.

No one matched all six numbers from the drawing, therefore Wednesday night’s Powerball® jackpot is now an estimated $260 million.

This is the third Powerball® ticket worth $1 million sold in West Virginia in the last two weeks. Mary Carr of Barboursville and the Gillispie Family from Julian claimed $1 million Powerball® prizes on March 8th.

The individual or individuals in possession of the latest $1 million ticket are encouraged to call the West Virginia Lottery at 304-558-0500.
