The Lottery conducted drawings January 2010 through May 2010 for one (1) winner of $10,000 each month! The Final Spin Grand Prize Drawing for one (1) prize of $250,000 and two (2) prizes of a Hollywood WHEEL OF FORTUNE® audition trip was held June 25, 2010!

All entries not selected for the monthly drawings was carried into the Final Spin Drawing in June 2010.

HOW TO ENTER

  • Play the WHEEL OF FORTUNE® instant ticket, scratching all the PRIZE spots on the ticket.
  • Find a “FREE PLAY” symbol, and the ticket is eligible for the Final Spin Drawing.
  • Complete the information in the spaces on the back of the qualifying ticket, affix the correct non-postcard postage, and mail. Please PRINT clearly and provide signature.
  • Hand-delivered, courier, certified, or registered mail entries will not be accepted.
  • All entries must be received by the end of business day prior to each drawing to be eligible for that drawing. Dates for the drawings are:  
  • Illegible tickets are ineligible and will be DISCARDED.
  • Entries must be post-marked in WV to be eligible.
  • Players may enter multiple times, but may only win one prize.
  • All entries from the monthly drawings will be included in the Final Spin Grand Prize Drawing.
  • Players must be 18 or older to qualify for trip prize.
  • Players must not owe child support to qualify for the trip prize.
  • The prize may be transferred to another person(s), if the recipient is 18 years old, or older, and does not have child support debt. The person to whom the prize is transferred must present valid identification to the Lottery. The original prizewinner, however, is responsible for applicable taxes. It is between the parties to agree on the transfer of any stipend.

Two (2) Hollywood WHEEL OF FORTUNE® Audition Trip Prizes as described below:
The Audition Trip Prize features a four-day, three-night trip for two to Hollywood, California. Each trip includes roundtrip coach airfare for two (2) on a major airline from and to an international airport in the continental U.S., one (1) hotel room (double occupancy) at a Hollywood, California hotel for three (3) nights, roundtrip ground transfers, MDI hosting, $1,000 in spending money and two (2)merchandise prize packs (to be received by the winner two (2)weeks prior to winner’s departure date), two (2) seating passes to a taping of Wheel of Fortune® and an audition for a chance to become a contestant on the Wheel of Fortune® television game show. The winner and/or guest must have a valid credit card or shall be required to post a cash deposit for incidentals to check into the hotel. MDI Entertainment shall be responsible for paying the Federal and State taxes as required by law and will supply the winners with a W-2G form and provide a copy to the LOTTERY.

In the event an audition participant is selected to be a contestant on the Wheel of Fortune® television show, MDI shall provide a three-day, two-night trip for two, including airfare, hotel and transfers at no cost to the LOTTERY or the player and fulfillment will be the sole responsibility of MDI. MDI shall be responsible for paying the Federal and State taxes as required by law and will supply the winners with a W-2G form and provide a copy to the LOTTERY.


Trip fulfillment shall include the scheduling and coordination of all travel, hotel accommodations, and ground transfers as provided below:
i) Dates will be scheduled in accordance with the Wheel of Fortune® taping schedule. MDI will contact the winner to inform them of the scheduled taping and audition date(s) to begin making the trip arrangements at least thirty (30) days in advance of the next available taping and audition date.
ii) Reservations must be made at least thirty (30) days prior to show taping and are subject to availability. The trip will be scheduled in accordance with the taping schedule. Dates of availability of taping and audition dates must be made available to the LOTTERY by MDI as soon as MDI is notified of such dates.
iii) MDI is not obligated to fulfill the Audition Trip Prize if the Wheel of Fortune® taping seats are not available within one (1) year from the date on which the winner was notified to schedule the trip. In such case the LOTTERY will provide the winner the cash equivalent of the trip.
iv) The trip prize includes two (2) round trip coach class tickets booked on a major airline from and to an international airport in the continental U.S.
v) The trip prize includes a double occupancy room in Hollywood, California for three nights.
vi) The $1,000 cash portion of the grand prize will be issued by MDI in the form of a check to the winner two (2) weeks before the scheduled trip.
vii) The merchandise prize packs shall be mailed to the winner two (2) weeks prior to the scheduled trip.
viii) The trip is not transferable or assignable without the express written consent of the LOTTERY.
ix) The trip prize does not include: insurance, gratuities, meals, parking fees, departure fees, baggage fees, alcoholic beverages, any items not specified and personal expenses such as telephone calls, valet service, laundry, etc., or revision or cancellation fees which may be charged by the airline, hotel, or other suppliers. The winners, designee(s), or guests must have a valid credit card or shall be required to post a cash deposit for incidentals to check in to hotel.
x) If winners fail to show at designated time of departure, the entire prize will be forfeited with the exception of the $1,000 spending money and the two merchandise prize packs.
xi) If trip is not claimed or not taken by an Audition Trip Prize winner, the LOTTERY may assign the Audition Trip Prize to an alternate recipient and MDI shall fulfill that Grand Prize under the same terms and conditions as specified in this Section.
xii) The trip prize winner shall have one (1) year from the date on which the winner was notified to schedule the trip based on availability of show tapings.
xiii) Reservations are contingent upon availability of each component of the trip prize.
xiv) Age eligibility to win the Audition Trip Prize shall be determined by the LOTTERY; however winner or their guest must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age to check into a hotel in California.
xv) After a trip winner is validated by the LOTTERY and MDI is notified then title to the respective trips shall pass immediately to the winner/claimant.
xvi) In the event an audition participant is selected to be a contestant on the Wheel of Fortune® television show, MDI shall provide a three-day, two-night trip for two, including airfare, hotel and transfers at no cost to the LOTTERY or the player and fulfillment will be the sole responsibility of MDI.
