BALTIMORE (10/16/18) - Due to strong sales across the country, the official Mega Millions jackpot estimate as of 11:30 a.m. October 16, 2018, for the drawing to be held October 16, 2018, has been raised to $667 million ($380.0 million cash). This is now the largest jackpot in the history of the Mega Millions game, and the third largest jackpot in U.S. history.
West Virginia players have until Mega Millions drawings are conducted at 11 p.m. Eastern Time on Tuesdays and Fridays in Atlanta, Ga. West Virginia players have until 9:59 p.m. ET on draw days to purchase their tickets. Tickets cost $2 or $3 with the Megaplier option which multiplies the prize amount you can win on all prizes except the top prize.
