West Virginia Lottery Announces January Results of 25th Anniversary Second Chance Drawing

Charleston, WV – The West Virginia Lottery announced the results of its first monthly second chance drawing in conjunction with its 25th Anniversary Instant ticket games. West Virginia Lottery Director, John Musgrave, said the Lottery was excited to provide players another chance to win each month from January through May 2011. Twelve winners each month will be drawn, with 10 players winning $2,500 and two players winning a $25,000 prize. In addition, Musgrave said that the Lottery will hold a final second chance drawing in June with a chance for 64 players to win prizes ranging from $2,500, and one lucky $1 Million winner.

Musgrave said that chances to win an ‘ENTRY’ into the monthly drawings may be won on any of the three special holographic instant ticket games which include the one-dollar ‘FAST $25’ game, the two-dollar $25 GRAND game, and the $25 ‘SILVER SPECTACULAR’ game.

According to Musgrave the two $25,000 winners for the January 25, 2011 drawing were Barbara McSpadden, of Belington, W.Va. and Kenneth Williams, of Charleston, W.Va. The ten $2,500 winners were Aimee Colegrove, of Lenore, W.Va.; Anita Chapman, of Huntington, W.Va.; Jody Stevens, of Grafton, W.Va.; Sharon Merryman, of Shadyside, OH; Patti Jo Jones, of Parkersburg, W.Va.; Dale Arbogast, of Elkins, W.Va.; Barbara Rhodes, of South Charleston, W.Va.; Connie Grove, of Terra Alta, W.V.; Karen Tibbs, of Parkersburg, W.Va; and Marty McClure, of Alkol, W.Va.

The next drawing will be held on February 22, 2011. Players may enter the drawings online at wvlottery.com or by U.S. Mail. All winning ‘ENTRY’ tickets submitted for the Lottery’s second chance monthly drawings will be eligible for the final drawing and a chance to win $1 Million in June.
